One of the hallmarks of a professional drone pilot is the ReOC. Holding ReOC allows me to fly drones in situations and locations where others can’t. Certified by CASA, with the right planning and safeguards in place, I can fly up to 15m from people, at night and in areas where others can’t with truly professional drones.

If you are flying a drone for commercial operations, both the aircraft and you need to be registered with CASA, I’ve done both.

I currently operate the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Weighing in at under 2kg this Drone features a Hasselblad lens and 1 Inch CMOS sensory delivering 4k footage and 20mp still imagery.
